Problem
Soil analysis has evolved since 1960. Common practice over the past decade has been to collect samples in subsections of a field. Fifteen to twenty individual samples are collected from random places in a field subsection of less than 20 acres. The soil from that subsection is mixed. Tests report the pH level in the soil, the plant-available N, P, and K concentrations, Mg, Ca, and in some cases the percent organic matter in the soil and trace metals. Numerous methods are used in soil testing laboratories, from colorimetric methods to ICP-MS.
Recent trends in precision agriculture are for increasingly spatially-precise measurements of plant and soil health, acquired more frequently to provide increasingly localized irrigation, pest control, and fertilization.
Our solution
DeepSoils is a new AgriTech product of Plasmawise that provides Farmers with a quick, clean and affordable soil analysis with little or no preparation that can identify elements simultaneously in a small soil sample of 0.5 gram thanks to an advanced application of Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) that not only identifies the elements present in soils but can also quantify them. This game-changing system is capable of performing 3,000 analyses per second, powered by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) decision-making system .

Our solution
The R&D of an air cleaning system for the treatment of indoor air by cold atmospheric plasma has been the focus of this recent project. One of the greatest challenges of this project is to ensure a scalable device for the treatment of large air volumes and the use of different filter techniques working side by side to ensure a high air purification efficiency. Plasmawise has developed a safe and compact plasma source which makes its product unique and highly innovative. We made it not only scalable but also available to be used in different environments such as in offices, private houses or even in cars and buses. Units with different sizes were developed and tested.

Treatment of nails infected by fungus with cold atmospheric plasma.
Problem
Statistics show that among adults nearly one out of five is affected by feet skin diseases, in particular athletes who are the most concerned by this infection. Adults over 65 have a larger probability of infection, almost one out of two adults. If not treated, onychomycosis can infect the entire surface of the nail by spreading into the cells network which can lead to the complete loss of the nail. Cold atmospheric plasma can be painless solution to this infectious disease.
Plasmawise solution
We are in the process of bringing to a close a portable, compact, battery driven device for the treatment of nail fungus. A first step consisted in the elaboration of a prototype based on our SMD technology. The device can be charges with a 5V USB smartphone charger and it is equipped with the necessary spacers and protection equipment in order to avoid contamination of healthy nails, enabling hygiene of operation.
